Abigail Rothman is a multidisciplinary artist utilizing drawing, video, installation, and interactive works that engage the viewer through current events and personal experiences. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, and eventually relocating to New Jersey, Rothman began studying a traditional art education with a strong emphasis on figure drawing and painting in high school. In college, her work quickly shift towards politically charged content that questions the foundation of society as well as the traditional priorities of the art world. Her work is an exploration of various relevant themes throughout politics and society today. Rothman graduated from The College of New Jersey in May 2019 with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts. She will pursue further education in the coming years.
